Round 4 Ohio Opportunity Zone Tax Credit Awards Issued

The Ohio Department of Development (“DOD”) issued the Round 4 Ohio Opportunity Zone Tax Credit Awards.  Over 28% of all the awards issued by DOD were issued to our Clients.  Had we not advocated for the expansion of Ohio’s Opportunity Zone Program, the Program would have run out of funding and almost 40% of all the awards issued throughout Ohio would not have been issued.  In the course of selling those credits for our Clients that have chosen to sell, we are using multiple aspects of the most recent amendment to Ohio Opportunity Zone Statute that we drafted, which provide for enhanced flexibility in the transfer process.
